The Simian Line on the palm is a peculiar and exceptional line on the palm that is found rarely on the hands of human being. Generally, the heart line and the head line join together and form a long line on the hand and that touches the other part of the hand. This line is found with rare number of people. The person having such a line gets confused as the simian line looks to be different. There are many synonyms for the simian line such as: Simian fold, Simian Crease and Transverse Palmer Crease etc. The simian line has been described in different way in different books.

When the Simian line appears on the palm the Great Quadrangle almost gets missed. The heart line and head becomes together and crossed straight across the palm. The people with simian line are of impulsive bent of mind. Sometimes they take decisions without forethought. They are seen mostly single minded and concentrate on a particular subject since Great quadrangle is missing. So to speak, they have less adaptability to the people and surroundings.

In some other cases the line of heart, the line of head and the line of life joins together that makes the person extremely impulsive. As a result, sometimes the person invites danger to one's own life due to impulsive action. People with Simian line are strong willed, determined and hard working as well.
